Matthew Evans

After sold out events in July this year, Matthew Evans, chef and food critic turned farmer-food activist, is back in Perth and we're celebrating the launch of the new edition of Matthew's Real Food Companion.

You might know him from his long-running SBS series Gourmet Farmer (six seasons), set on Fat Pig Farm's 70 acres. He has also presented food documentaries What's the Catch? and For the Love of Meat. Matthew has also authored or co-authored 13 books on food, and is regularly interviewed on radio about all things to do with farming, growing, sustainability, soil and eating.

The Real Food Companion is the definitive Matthew Evans book on food, fully updated. It includes more than 200 recipes and is the result of Matthew's four decades as a writer, chef and farmer. And its core mission is teaching readers how to ethically source, cook and eat real food.

Matthew's passion is infectious and his food delicious.

Please join us on 18th November IN-STORE where Matthew will be talking about life on his farm and how we can all eat real food.

Tickets are $10 or you can purchase a discounted copy of The Real Food Companion at $55 where your ticket is complimentary.
