STAFF REVIEW
'Mayflies' is a finely crafted novel about youth, ageing and friendship.
Starting in the poor north of Thatcher's Britain, it moves to Manchester in the 1980s when Morrissey is a God, to the relative comforts of late middle age in the present day. Beautiful writing. Funny, sad and wise. I loved it.
