Heather Whinney is an experienced food writer and home economist. She has been the food editor of Family Circle and Prima magazines and freelance food editor at BBC Good Food magazine, as well as working freelance for several publications such as Good Housekeeping and Woman and Home. She is now the contributing food editor for Prima. As a working mother bringing up a family, she understands the issues families and busy households face when it comes to putting good food on the table. Her style and food philosophy has always remained constant - to keep it simple, and write easy recipes for the everyday cook. She is the author of Cook Express (2009) and co-author of The Diabetes Cooking Book (2010). Jane Lawrie has been baking ever since she could stand on a chair. As an experienced food stylist and cookery writer, she has worked for numerous magazines including BBC Good Food and Good Housekeeping. She works on a freelance basis for many food retailers and brands, preparing food for photography and writing recipes. Jane has worked on several DK books including Chocolate, as well as several Mary Berry and Masterchef titles. Jane lives in Hertfordshire and, when she's not cooking, she's dreaming about what to eat next. Fiona Hunter is a food writer and nutritionist of over 30 years' experience. With a degree in Nutrition and a postgraduate diploma in Dietetics, she began her career as a dietician in the NHS before going on to write for magazine including Good Housekeeping, Health and Fitness, and BBC Good Food, as well as making many appearances on television and radio. She is the co-author of several books, including 101 Fantastic GI Recipes, The Natural Menopause Cookbook, and DK's The Diabetes Cooking Book.
