About the book:

A world champion free diver disappears during routine training.

An emerging actress confronts her tormentor.

Two sisters band together in the face of an unkillable foe.

Through it all, the love that they give, and the love that surrounds them will hold their worlds together. The men in these stories confront the impact that strong women have had on their lives, and must reassess their own actions towards the opposite sex. The women in these stories take control of their destinies and must live with the consequences, no matter what they may be.

We are all the heroes in our own stories. But sometimes, perhaps, it's better to misbehave. After all, well-behaved women rarely make history.

Emily Paull is a former-bookseller and future-librarian from Perth who writes short stories and historical fiction. Her work has appeared in numerous anthologies as well as Westerly journal. When she's not writing, she can often be found with her nose in a book.
