Greta Fitchett has worked creatively with textiles for many years, specialising first in embroidery before becoming a contemporary quiltmaker. Early training in home economics has left an interest in food, and a current theme is creating food related soft sculptures. Travel influences her choice of subject for quilts, using small details such as pattern, colour and texture for inspiration.
